Dr. O. Marvin Lewis (1924 - ) has practiced internal medicine for 38 years until his retirement in 1994. During that time he served two terms as chief of medicine at McKay-Dee Hospital, Ogden, Utah, and one term as president of the medical staff there. In 1999, he served as honorary president of the Utah Medical Association. He is an advocate for the arts who enjoys writing and has been published in the pages of Weber Studies.

Dr. Sherwin W. Howard (1936-2001) was former President of Deep Springs College, dean of the College of Arts & Humanities at Weber State University, editor of Weber Studies, and an accomplished playwright and poet.

Dr. Neila C. Seshachari (1934 - 2002) was a much respected advocate for the arts and humanities. Professor of English at Weber State University for 29 years, committed teacher, accomplished scholar, critic, and fiction writer, Neila was editor of Weber Studies for 12 years.
